Getting Started

First steps with Kegelō.

The easiest way: imagine you're trying to stop the flow of urine mid-stream. The muscles you squeeze are your pelvic floor muscles. Alternatively, try tightening the muscles you'd use to stop passing gas. Kegelō walks you through this during onboarding with a guided technique check step-by-step. Women can also try inserting a clean finger and squeezing around it to identify the correct muscle group.
Choose the goal that best matches your primary motivation:

Prostate Health — Pre or post-prostate surgery, ED, ejaculatory control
Bladder Control — Urinary incontinence, urgency, leakage
Core Strength — General fitness, athletic performance, core stability
Injury Recovery — Post-partum, hernia repair, hip or back rehabilitation
Wellness — General pelvic health maintenance and prevention

You can change your goal at any time from the Profile > Settings menu.
Most sessions are between 5 and 15 minutes depending on the routine level. The Quick Session (Level 1) takes approximately 5–7 minutes. Advanced levels like Power and Endurance run up to 12–15 minutes. Kegelō is designed to integrate into your daily routine with minimal time commitment.
Kegelō uses a Recovery Lock system based on clinical evidence. Pelvic floor muscles require adequate recovery time between sessions to actually strengthen. Training too frequently leads to muscle fatigue rather than improvement. The lock timer shows you exactly when you'll be cleared to train again — it's a feature, not a restriction.
